Art Room Rules:

 Art Room Rules & Expectations:
  1. BE REPSECTFUL: Respect Mrs. Pottish, your classmates, and the art classroom at all times. Follow the MBMS Code of Conduct and school rules at all times.
  2. Be prepared for class: Always have several sharp pencils, erasers, and a hand-held pencil sharpener.
  3. Be helpful:  Participate in cleanup duties. Return art supplies to their rightful place.
  4. Try your best: Stay focused; be fully engaged in your artwork and the creative process. I don’t give homework- don’t do homework for other classes during art class. Do not waste class time.
  5. Stay in your assigned seat at all times! Be in your seat when the bell rings, ready to listen, and start class. Do not line up by the door to wait for the dismissal bell.
  6. Use Technology appropriately: No social media, gaming, or texting. Ipad use must be relevant to art class. Art apps, drawing apps, and reference image searches are examples of appropriate ipad use. Keep cell phones on “airplane mode” during class and put away in your backpack.
  7. No eating or gum chewing in class!
  8. Always ask permission before you leave class, sign out, and take the hall pass.
  9. Keep your conversations school appropriate. Keep your voices calm/quiet (no yelling).
  10. Use art supplies appropriately. Do not be wasteful. Do not use art supplies to draw or paint on your body.
   11. No roughhousing or running in the classroom.
